Dirk Decker has been an active golf player for almost 30 years and has had a single-figure handicap for over 25 years. From 1990 to 1994 he worked as a freelancer in Christoph Städler’s golf course design firm. He has been a partner in Städler Golf Courses since 1994. After golf, hunting is his greatest passion.

One of his greatest sporting achievements was winning the German Team Championship for young-seniors in the years 2004-2006 with the team from Schmitzhof Golf Club.
