In 2005 Städler Golf Courses drew up a very detailed expertise for improving the quality of the course. Acting on our recommendations, Golf-Club Jersbek ordered the renovation and redesign of many of the bunkers, tees and ponds in 2007.
One aim of our planning was to extend the course to a par 72. We achieved this by transforming hole 4 into a spectacular par 5. To create a balance between long and short par 3s and to harmonize the golfing round, we relocated some of the tees.
What’s more we upgraded lots of the bunkers to give them a contemporary and even more challenging character.

Classic course with hedgerows
German architect Christoph Städler took a closer look at GC Jersbek in terms of a contemporary layout. The club committee engaged the 55-year-old to redesign the 18 holes.
His proposal for the future: taking some of the sting out of the often very long and tricky par 3 holes and modifying the widely different par 4s to bring them to a uniform level.
