Magdeburg's golf course is located only a few minutes' drive from the city centre in the Herrenkrug district and thus has the special advantage of fast transport connections. A significant part of the golf course is located within the traditional racecourse, which gives it a special flair. The remaining holes are located in the scenic racing meadows, which are also situated in the Elbe meadows.
The golf course has 9 holes - with a current par 73 and a total length of 5,515 m - each of which has two separately placed tee pairs and in some cases alternative fairways, so that the sporting variety is much greater than on a pure 9-hole course.
