Under the name Hofkammer.Golf, the Hofkammer of the "House of Württemberg" operates three golf courses in the Stuttgart region on its properties. Schloss Monrepos is part of this partner network. Next to the Hofkammer and the Schlosshotel, the 18 holes of Golfclub Schloss Monrepos are located on the edge of Monrepos Lake, integrated into a popular local recreation park. The central location just a few minutes' drive north of Ludwigsburg ensures short access routes.
The golf course is divided by the A81 motorway, which can be crossed by a public bridge. On the course designed by Karl F. Grohs, there are 11 holes on the southern and 7 holes on the northern side of the motorway.
Renovation & redesign of holes 4 & 7 in 2023
Our task was to optimise the safety aspects of the tees on holes 4 and 7 and the path network there. In the course of these redesign measures, the fairway bunkers of hole 7 were also redesigned and adapted to the changed tee situation. Hole 4 is now 354 m long from the back tee and hole 7 is 452 m long.
