Golfplatz Dübener Heide · Golfclub Leipzig

alt

The 18-hole course of the 1st GC Leipzig is located in the region north-east of Leipzig, in the south-western fringe of the Dübener Heide in a typical agricultural landscape. The site, which was formerly used for agricultural purposes, is now well overgrown with trees and shrubs, especially in the northern part, and has an attractive tree population. In the southern and older part, only selective planting was carried out and this area presents itself accordingly open.

The northern and southern areas also differ from each other due to the different modelling and the size of the greens and the bunkers. Overall, the golf course can be classified as a parkland course.

The golf course is largely flat and very spacious. The holes are mostly relatively wide and straight. Hole 4 is an extremely long par 5 at 590m.
