The Lucerne Golf Club was founded in 1903 and is thus the third oldest golf club in Switzerland. In 1925, the course was extended to 18 holes. In the course of time, it has been altered several times.
Our office was asked to draw up a master plan for possible course improvements as part of a competition - with the desired focus on bunker renovation and redesign as well as adjustments to tees, green environments and practice facilities.
With the concept that has been available since March 2023, the LGC has received proposals on how to modernise the various usage structures of the golf course (bunkers, tees, greens, practice facilities, etc.) in terms of design and construction. In addition, design improvement proposals were made for each course.
