Nestled within the landscape of the Teutoburg Forest, yet situated in the immediate vicinity of the city, the Bielefeld Golf Club’s 18-hole course captivates with its very special charm. The park-like course, with its mature trees, invites you to enjoy a round amidst stunning natural surroundings – with sweeping views across the rolling countryside around Bielefeld.
Varied fairways, striking tees set against a magnificent backdrop and well-maintained greens ensure an all-round enjoyable golfing experience. The course combines sporting challenge with the pleasure of playing in natural surroundings to a high standard. The undulating topography presents particular challenges: slopes and numerous water hazards demand tactical skill from players. A characteristic feature of the course are the so-called ‘Sieks’ – narrow, water-filled gorges that must be skilfully navigated.
In 2026, Städler & Reinmuth Golfdesign were commissioned to redesign a number of fairway and green bunkers, bringing the ageing obstacles up to modern standards.
