Golf-Club Widukind-Land

The Widukind-Land Golf Club was founded in 1986 and the first 9 holes were opened in 1988. Just 5 years later, the course was expanded to 18 holes. In 2000, our office was commissioned for the first time to plan renovations to some greens, tees, and bunkers. In 2009, a 4-hole short course was added. At the same time, the new clubhouse was put into operation. Since then, the golf course has remained in its current state.

2025: In view of the enormous growth of the trees that were planted when the course was new and have now significantly changed the character of the course and its playability, as well as in view of the current driving distances of long hitters, which have rendered many of the bunkers that were appropriately placed at the time obsolete, the current board commissioned an external expert assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of the golf course in order to obtain pointers for possible improvements and thus be able to draw up a long-term course development plan.
