Golfclub Thülsfelder Talsperre

The golf course is surrounded by extensive heather and forest areas of the recreation area Thülsfelder Talsperre. Thanks to the sandy ground, year-round playability is guaranteed. Since the groundwater was relatively dense under the surface, large ponds could be lifted wherever the architect, Christoph Städler, wished - a total of 9 pieces with a water surface of 5 ha. They reach 12 of the 18 holes, and not just decorative on the edge, but as a strategic to play around obstacles.

What makes the course special are the high demands on the players' ability and skill at the tee: if you risk something, you can make the next stroke much shorter and at a more favorable angle than after a careful tee shot on the safe side of the track.

Characteristic of the course are also the unusually strongly ondulated greens - a special challenge for every good putter. If you do not have a 3-putt over the round, you can count among the real champions.
