Football in Weimarer Land - As in the entire Spa & GolfResort Weimarer Land, owner Matthias Grafe has created perfect training conditions with great attention to detail in order to offer top international footballers a training camp in Blankenhain, Thuringia. The training facility, built in 2021 to FIFA standards with 1.5 football pitches and perfect quality turf, is idyllically embedded in the 18-hole ‘Goethe’ golf course and offers the ideal and best conditions for a football training camp at the highest level thanks to its seclusion.
The high-calibre national football teams from England and Germany used the resort to prepare for Euro2024 or to stay there during the tournament. Harry Kane, Manuel Neuer and the other stars were able to use our football and golf courses during their training camps.
The Spa & GolfResort extends over 450 hectares of land and is logistically very well connected thanks to its short access routes and central location. A 3,000 m² spa area with infinity pools, a graduation tower and many other attractions invite you to relax.
